The Second Coming, the New Heaven, and the New Earth

2 Peter 3:11-13

Though Christians are divided in their convictions about prophecies on the end times, we do agree on one specific doctrine: Jesus is coming back. The scriptural evidence is just overwhelmingly rich to ignore. But how are we to live in light of this event? What is the new heaven and the new earth, and what motivation do we have to anticipate the fulfillment of this prophecy?
