What is the Gift of Speaking in Tongues?

1 Corinthians 12:8-11

Today’s sermon is going to be challenging for some of us, including myself. When we consider how divided the church already is when it comes to certain doctrines, discussing the next spiritual gift on Paul’s list will not be easy. But in light of God’s purpose of blessing His people with spiritual gifts, my goal is to help us see what the Bible says, what it means, and how we can be united—or at least remain gracious to one another—despite our differing opinions on non-essential matters.
