Prayer is essential to the Christian life—both individually for believers and corporately for the church. It is so important that without it, a Christian’s spiritual life runs dry and a church becomes powerless. A church that doesn’t pray simply cannot impact the community it is supposed to serve. But if it does, amazing things happen. We can see this truth as soon as the early days of the church in Jerusalem.
