Motivations for Christian Growth and Fruitfulness

2 Peter 1:8-11

Our walk with Christ is a never-ending quest for growth and fruitfulness. If we think about our role as salt and light of the world, God’s hands and feet, ambassadors of Christ, we have a tremendous task laid upon our shoulders. Therefore, we should take this calling seriously.

What if we choose to be satisfied with simply being saved and do nothing to reach maturity? How would God feel about having such a mindset?
