As children of God, we are not poor. I do not mean that in a financial or economic way. We have been given immense spiritual riches to make sure we have everything we need to live God-honoring lives. But some of us are unaware of their true spiritual wealth in Christ, keeping them from being effective witnesses for Jesus. How can we avoid being spiritually impoverished believers? As recipients of God’s goodness, what should we keep in mind as we discover the blessings and power we have in Christ?
