4 "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,"
Galatians 4:4
Christmas is exciting because it brings families together to share food, fun, and gifts. This way, we are able to make memories to cherish. It’s also a perfect season to have a “me-time” after a year of busy schedules. But there’s more to Christmas than just those things. The question is, what are the true blessings of Christmas?
Christmas is about Jesus coming to earth at the right time. What this means is that God orchestrated world events leading up to the timing of Jesus’ birth. He determined that it was time for Jesus to come to the very world He created.
The big idea here is that God works with a divine timetable and determines what happens to fulfill His great plan of redeeming mankind. Therefore, it is no accident when we are given the opportunity to hear the gospel, that moment is the perfect time God has prepared for us to listen and respond to the Good News.
That’s why Christmas is a high time to preach the Gospel. It pushes people to look back 2,000 years ago when God became man to die on the cross to save us. Have you told someone about the true blessing of Christmas?
